Changed study A/C set point to 74 F (from 70F). (Economy switch still on.)

First reading from 207 10th St.: 22.6 C!

The temperature gear has now moved to ragno.ewranglers.com. Kali will be recommissioned as a NetBSD machine.

kali.ewrangler.com has moved into a machine at Coloco machine room in Laurel, MD, USA. There's not an outdoor temperature sensor, so the data will probably be pretty boring from here on out, unless you have a machine in the same room and are curious if it's too hot.

Move the sensor from kali's exhaust into the SW quadrant of the 2nd floor. We're expirementing with ways to maximize the non-A/C cooling of the house. (So far, just opening and closing windows and moving box-fans. Hopefully sometime in the next month or so we might actually get a heat pump or A/C. Still, it'll be good to know what methods work best with the assitance of some Freon-like substance and condensor...)

I just turned on a fan drawing air into a 2nd-floor room (not containing the interior sensor), to see if it will bring the indoor temperature down closer to the outdoor temp.

I just turned on a fan drawing air out of the room with the interior sensor, to see if it will bring the indoor temperature down closer to the outdoor temp.

While we on vacation for about 2 weeks, the house was closed up, and, therefore, the indoor and kali temps were quite a bit less variable than previous measurements.

2000.06.05 ~23:00

Cool front moved in, constant drizzle and rain all day today (6 June) so far. Outside Temperature totally flat-lined. I'm not sure if the Inside temp rises because activity in the house increases (as two humans and one cat wake up and start generating activity) or if it's something else like:

Added code to compute max and min values for graph, and set temperature scales accordingly. Also halved stub and tic increments.

2000.05.26 19:50

Outdoor probe moved to new location, hopefully will get less interference from the side of the house, but not too much direct sunlight.

First reading! (72.3 F)
